I have included links to some products on this site for which I will earn an affiliate commission if you should make any purchases. Please note that I have not been given any free products, services or anything else by these companies in exchange for mentioning them on this site.

My purpose here is to “talk about” the work I love which - sewing and machine embroidery. I also love to teach, so I’ve combined the two so that I can post helpful information. My plan is to be available for those who want with sewing tips, techniques, and tutorials. I am also retired, and just one month away from being 69 years old. Hence, I need to supplement my income. What better way to do it than this! So my goal here is two-fold – it’s for fun AND profit! I have a business of alterations and embroidery.

I have sewn for the public, worked in fabric shops, sold sewing machines, Sergers and other sewing equipment. I have also taught sewing lessons and instructed customers how to use the new machines they purchase. I own almost every sewing tool and notion on the market, and can direct you to those tools and equipment that will most benefit you.

Having said that, there are millions of products and services on the web that relate to blogging and making money online. I only promote those products or services that I have investigated and truly feel deliver value to you. If they don't, I will immediately remove those links from my site. Purchases you make from Amazon through my site will be no different than purchasing directly from Amazon. The only different is that I will receive a commission for the referral. After you click through to Amazon, you can continue to shop there to your heart's content. I am truly grateful for any and all support, and I will do my best to provide as much valuable help and information as I can to show my gratitude.  Linda Weaver

I highly recommend this book. I read it completely in one sitting. It is a deeply emotional book from the author's perspective, but she does an amazing job of showing the faithfulness of God. She was able to show that regardless of what we go through in life, when it all comes down, we can still walk in the joy and peace of God. She clearly communicated to the reader that our joy and peace does not come from our circumstances and situations of life, but from our choice to focus on and follow our God. Well done, Linda Weaver!

I always think that a "good read" is a book that pulls me into the story and lets me personally become involved and this book is a "good read". L. Weaver has written a very personal and poignant story of her life's journey and how her simple faith in God has helped through the good and not so good times. I read this book over the weekend and hated for it to end as I enjoyed reading every step of this lady's walk with God by her side.

Ms. Weaver writes about her very intimate feelings about heartbreaking events in her life. I like her style - short, simple sentences and simple, Anglo-Saxon words. - The style espoused by Winston Churchill. She conveys her feelings in such a clear way that the reader can feel her joy and sorrow in. each event that she describes.
